A Cub Scout pack is comprised of one or more dens, with each den serving a single grade level. The Cubmaster oversees all dens, and each den has its own Den Leader. Assistants aid the Cubmaster and Den Leaders with logistics, finances, and planning. A committee of civic leaders and chartered organization members provide oversight to the Pack, ensuring its full compliance with Scouting America policies. Learn more.

Bishop Bettini, Cubmaster and Den 1 Leader
Scouting has been a big part of Bishop's life. He earned his Eagle Scout rank with Troop 254 in Greensboro, NC in 1991 and was awarded the Vigil Honor in the Order of Arrow in 1993. After college, he co-founded Troop 388 in Raleigh, NC where he was an Assistant Scoutmaster for 10 years. In 2024, with his son now of Cub Scout age, he was Committee Chair of Pack 352 before moving to re-found Pack 342 in 2025.
