A Scout is Helpful

Pack 342 is available to assist with age-appropriate service projects around our community. Elementary-aged children learn through these projects how to be helpful to their community and to cooperate with their peers, while developing skills and a feeling of doing good.

Service project ideas include:

• Flag ceremonies and respectful flag retirement

• Cards and artwork for people who need them

• Food drive with a sorting day

• Animal shelter supply drive plus handmade items

• Litter patrol and grounds cleanup

• Blessing bags or care kits

• Pollinator garden or seed bombs

• Appreciation breakfast for school or community staff

Service projects last from 30 minutes to 2 hours, depending upon the scope and time of year. No payment for service is required.
